Regarding the continued participation of countries for 2026

The mod team has reached a unanimous decision to prevent sign-ups for previously represented countries Israel and Russia at this year’s Just Dance Vision.

For creators from Israel and Russia: No specific creators have been banned and will be given special consideration when signing up. Our goal is not to exclude anyone from participation in such an exciting event.

Obviously, this is a change from our previous stance as treating the contest as apolitical. JDVision is extremely tiny and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but nothing truly exists in a political vacuum.

We reached this decision to protect the integrity and reputation of the contest as well as to alleviate our own stresses managing it. This decision is final for JDV26 but, as the global political landscape is ever-changing, may change in future.

Any harassment directed at participants and organisers alike will continue to not be tolerated as per the rules of the contest.
